We think about the Aromatic & medicinal Plants and we are developing the Farm as a Training center where farmers would be Technically trained for cultivation of Aromatic & medicinal Plants. DKVS has decided to work for the poor and needy not by giving them food, money, clothes or shelter but by giving them back their sons and giving them their own lands/farm. We proposed to the farmer that instead of traditional crops try and grow crops which will give you higher return in the National/International market for the same size of the growing area. We want to be Uttarakhand, being a region with diverse flora has immense potential for aromatic and medicinal farming. This type of farming involves growing plants and herbs that are used for their aromatic or medicinal properties. The cultivation of aromatic and medicinal plants in uttarakhand not only provides a source of income for the farmers but also helps in preserving the biodiversity of the region. It also promotes sustainable agriculture practices and encourages the use of natural remedies. Furthermore, the demand for aromatic and medicinal products has been increasing globally, which provides an opportunity for farmers in Uttarakhand to tap into the international market. By promoting and supporting Aromatic and medicinal farming in Uttarakhand the region can benefit economically while also preserving its unique biodiversity.
