about Rural Agricultural Work Experience

(RAWE)

The Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) program is the highlight of the last term for B.Sc. (Ag.) students in their final year. ICAR's main goal in putting RAWE in place for undergrads is to help agricultural graduates feel better about themselves by improving their work skills. During the village stay, the students stay with rural families for two weeks. This gives them a rare chance to get to know the farmers again. In addition to giving students hands-on training in the field, the RAWE modules help them change their way of thinking, outlook, personality traits, and business and leadership skills for the better.
